Join The Team:

ERCO Worldwide is looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to join our Port Edwards team! To support and insure ERCO’s daily operation through the purchasing of maintenance, repair, operating supplies, goods and services.  To develop and maintain quality long-term relationships with internal customers as internal and external suppliers.

The Role:

  • Coordinates plant needs of goods and services with suppliers and insures proper lines of communication between suppliers and plant personnel.
  • Establishes schedules and monitors material procurement to meet daily plant requirements and major shutdown requirements.
  • Oversees the Storeroom and Storeroom Buyer.
  • Supervises cleaning contractors, snow removal and landscaping.
  • Conducts competitive bids and analysis for supply of materials, equipment and services.
  • Qualifies suppliers of goods and services to ERCO standards.
  • Sets up new vendors in the Coupa system.
  • Resolves issues of non-conformance to PO’s and service agreements.
  • Coordinates shipment of equipment and materials to contractors or service companies for fabrication or repair.

The Person:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing is preferred.
  • Certification in Supply Management is preferred.
  • 6-10 years of experience in purchasing with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven experience in cost budgeting and management.
