Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Performance & Strategy team within Global Procurement as a Procurement Operations Manager. This individual will play an integral role in driving efficiency, operational excellence, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The position partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to streamline workflows, enhance reporting, and scale capabilities through automation and AI-enabled solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, upstream finance & procurement, downstream purchasing & payables transactions, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead development of data-driven insights and reporting to improve visibility into procurement performance, compliance, and supplier management.

Identify, design, and implement automation opportunities (e.g., workflow optimization, system integrations, low-code solutions) to reduce manual effort and cycle time.

Apply advanced analytics and emerging AI tools to enhance forecasting, anomaly detection, and decision support.

Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable digital solutions (Power Platform, SAP/Ariba, etc.).

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, standardization, and best practices across procurement operations.

Procurement Business Administration and partner to various stakeholders, including representation of procurement requirements, defects, and enhancements for implementations and/or ongoing maintenance of:

  • SAP Ariba upgrades to Next Gen products
  • Spend HQ and Sligo agentic AI
  • Commodities forecasting modeling and dashboard
  • Company CLM platform
  • SAP Joule base and premium enablement on Ariba products
  • S4 integrated Ariba direct materials line item pricing contracts

Joule Studio agentic AI use case development and implementation for procurement

Contract analytics pipeline insights management with procurement towers

Identification and support of automation use cases across Global Procurement. Partnering with Enterprise Services and IT where appropriate

Develop and maintain Python-based automation workflows, API integrations, and ETL pipelines executed via dedicated Global Procurement service accounts.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in business operations, technology delivery, digital transformation, consulting, or related roles
  • Working knowledge of SAP HANA ERP and related data domains (e.g., budgeting, purchasing, spend, master data)
  • Advanced analytical capabilities, including:
    • Ability to assemble, analyze, and interpret large data sets
    • Experience with should-cost models, benchmarking, and scenario modeling
    • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and business recommendations
  • Proven experience leading multiple initiatives or portfolios within a complex, matrixed organization
  • Strong execution and delivery leadership skills, with a track record of achieving measurable outcomes and driving performance improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, make delivery decisions, and operate effectively in dynamic, ambiguous environments
  • Experience partnering with Digital teams to deliver, scale solutions, and enable business outcomes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting insights and recommendations to senior leaders
  • Collaborative, outcome-oriented leadership style with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to model business scenarios and assess costs, risks, impacts, and benefits to inform decision-making

  • Advanced degree
  • Demonstrates proficiency with the 7-step sourcing process
  • Demonstrated understanding of CLM tools and processes (authoring, clause libraries, approval workflows, e-signing, pipeline and expiry management)
  • Demonstrated understanding of eSourcing tools and processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ, auctions, etc)
