Government Procurement Financial Analyst Manager

The Boeing Company is seeking a dynamic Government Procurement Financial Analyst Manager located in Hazelwood, MO.
As a part of the Government Procurement Financial Analyst (PFA) team, you would support the negotiation positions for the procurement of goods and services by conducting cost/price analysis of supplier proposals. PFAs provide support for the U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sale (FMS), and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) type contracts across multiple programs and platforms. Quantitative and statistical methods are used to correlate, compile and analyze supplier cost and non-cost data.
This position is responsible for leading a team of professionals in performing cost/price analysis of several of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government major suppliers.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of cost/price analysis professionals
  • Develop and motivate employees
  • Develop and maintain relationships/partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes for complex cost/price analyses
  • Provide oversight and direct support of supplier and customer negotiations
  • Lead process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements
  • Provide support for travel if needed

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 5+ years' experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience with government policies, procedures and regulations relating to contracting, development of proposals, and analysis of supplier proposals
  • Experience with audits
  • Experience leading negotiations
  • Experience working in large, complex, dynamic programs
  • Experience with exposure to supplier related data
