About JSET Automated Technologies
JSET Automated Technologies specializes in the installation and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS). Our work is primarily focused on large-scale data center construction, where we manage controls, monitoring systems, and electrical integration from installation through final commissioning.
Role Location Requirement (Please Read)
This Project Manager role is specifically assigned to an active jobsite in Jeffersonville, OH.
  • Daily on-site presence in Jeffersonville is required
  • This is not a hybrid or office-based role
  • A company-provided vehicle is included

JSET operates across multiple active industrial and data center construction sites throughout the region. This role requires a willingness to commute to project sites within a 100-mile radius of Columbus, OH based on project needs.
Candidates must be comfortable with consistent daily travel and field-based work as a core function of the role.
Upon completion of the Jeffersonville project, this role may be reassigned to support other active data center or industrial construction sites within the region.
What You'll Do
  • Lead BMS and EPMS construction projects from kickoff through commissioning and turnover
  • Manage subcontractors, general contractors, and vendors in a fast-paced industrial construction environment
  • Direct Low Voltage Technicians and set daily field priorities on active jobsites
  • Coordinate with Controls PM for L3-L5 system check out [i.e. P2P, Programming and Commissioning activities]
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of panels, meters, gateways, and control systems
  • Review Contracts, Drawings, Specifications, and Schedules Of Values to ensure compliance with construction documents
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, billing, change orders and pay applications using Procore and client systems
  • Track project risks, resolve field issues, and maintain construction schedules and milestones
  • Enforce safety, quality, and documentation standards in data center environments
Work Environment
  • Field-based Project Manager role with daily presence on an active industrial construction site
  • Work performed in data centers and heavy industrial environments
  • Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and changing weather conditions
  • Regular use of Procore, project scheduling tools, and mobile devices in the field
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial construction or data center construction
  • Proven experience managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods (electrical, mechanical, or controls)
  • Experience with Procore, including RFIs, submittals, change orders and pay applications
  • Strong Excel skills for cost tracking, reporting, and schedule of values management
  • Ability to lead field teams and communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and contractors
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with BMS, EPMS, controls systems, or low-voltage electrical systems
  • Familiarity with data center construction projects
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
  • Knowledge of Ethernet/IP, Modbus, or industrial communication protocols

This role begins with a structured onboarding and shadowing period (approximately 6 months) to ensure alignment with JSET project standards, systems, and client expectations. Following this period, Project Managers take full ownership of assigned projects.
