Position Description
The Project Management Intern will assist Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers in supporting the completion of construction projects. The internship is intended to provide exposure to the administrative and technical side of project delivery, with opportunities to observe and participate in preconstruction, buyouts, contracts, and project controls.
Responsibilities May Include:
  • Assist with RFIs, submittals, and project correspondence.
  • Help prepare meeting minutes, reports, and project logs.
  • Participate in budget and cost tracking activities.
  • Gain exposure to subcontractor buyouts, scope writing, and contract administration.
  • Assist with pre-construction tasks
  • Observe project scheduling processes and milestone tracking.
  • Assist with monthly reporting
  • Collaborate with the field team to ensure effective office-field coordination.
  • Represent Conlan positively in OAC meetings and client interactions.
  • Other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Position Requirements
Physical Demands & Environment:
  • Mix of office and field environments.
  • Capable of visiting job sites, including navigating uneven terrain and weather exposure.

Minimum Requirements
  • Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related program.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in or willing to learn Microsoft Office, Procore, and Bluebeam.
  • Team-oriented with interest in pursuing a career in Project Management.

Work Location
  • In person at a Conlan Corporate Office.
