We're seeking a Supply Chain Process Optimization Manager to partner with distribution centers and operating companies across our network to improve operational performance, standardize best practices, and drive measurable business results. This is an ideal opportunity for a supply chain professional who thrives on solving complex operational challenges, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and delivering sustainable process improvements that enhance productivity, service levels, and customer experience.
In this role, you'll work directly with operational leaders, directors, and executive stakeholders to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and drive consistency across our distribution network.
Travel Requirement: This position supports operating companies throughout the Sonepar network. While travel needs vary throughout the year, candidates should be comfortable traveling up to 50% during periods of project implementation, operational assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
  • Evaluate distribution center and warehouse operations to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Drive initiatives focused on labor productivity, throughput, operational efficiency, and cost-to-serve improvements
  • Design and implement standardized processes across inbound, outbound, and inventory management functions
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, IT, HR, and other business teams to support strategic supply chain initiatives
  • Facilitate process improvement projects from assessment through implementation and adoption
  • Support operational leaders in developing scalable, repeatable solutions across multiple locations
  • Leverage warehouse management, ERP, and operational systems to improve performance and execution
  • Travel to operating companies and distribution facilities to support implementation efforts and change management activities

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in supply chain, distribution, warehouse operations, logistics, or operational excellence environments
  • Background leading process improvement, continuous improvement, or operational transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of distribution center operations including inbound, outbound, inventory, and fulfillment processes
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and drive change across teams without direct authority
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to support operational initiatives across the network

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms
  • Experience supporting multi-site distribution or supply chain operations
  • Background in Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or process engineering
  • Experience implementing standard operating procedures and driving operational consistency across multiple locations
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
