Job description

TITLE: Software Process Manager
DUTIES: Responsible for software development process Excellence. Driving the process for compliance to best-in-class SW industry standards and ensure development teams are adhering to internal standards. Leading cross-functional teams contributing to software development to define and maintain the Software processes and standards for the internally developed EE controls. Understanding the process landscape across various platforms and suggest improvement recommendations Monitor current processes and drive improvements/ corrections based on findings. Analyzing and identifying the process risks and define the process improvement needs Provide constant reporting to Management on the results and risks associated
with assessment findings. Supporting strategic planning and roadmap with Software development teams for ASPICE Level 3 compliance. Defining a road map for process development and maintenance aligned to the organization direction. Identifying critical areas of improvement. Leading Process Institutionalization. Assisting in promoting the implementation of Software best practices. Establishing and maintain strong rapport and trust with development teams and other organization stakeholders. Engaging effectively with people who have various levels of seniority. Understanding, to convey complex SW topics. Distilling a range of SW quality information into key insights relevant to senior managers. Communicating risks to groups or audience of different knowledge level and/or different disciplines. Providing training programs on new processes as needed.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 10 years of experience in job offered or related experience in Software Process Management. ASPICE Certification and Project Management Certification required. Experience must include: Process modeling and use of process modeling tools, including Stages; Using Quality Tools (APQP Process, Root Cause Analysis, 8D); Conducting ASPICE assessments and perform gap analysis; Agile Development; Automotive experience and embedded software engineering development; Application of ALM toolchain (IBM Rational), and DOORS Next Gen (DNG); Data analysis and report development using Power BI; Project management experience.
