Quality Process Coordinator
Direct Hire | Near Fenton, MI
Pay: $23.50 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with occasional overtime
Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance available on Day one

Our client is a leading manufacturer of welded steel tubing, fabricated metal components, material handling racks, and custom industrial assemblies. They are looking for a Quality Process Coordinator to support production by developing manufacturing documentation, performing quality inspections, and ensuring products meet engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Responsibilities
• Develop in process work instructions from engineering blueprints and customer drawings.
• Create component drawings and compile manufacturing process books.
• Perform First Article Inspections on new rack and fabricated weldment projects.
• Complete first piece inspections during production start ups to verify product quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Mark up production white samples and communicate revisions to Production and Quality.
• Develop and maintain quality control plans and manufacturing documentation.
• Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in quality, welding, fabrication, or manufacturing.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Experience creating work instructions, process documentation, inspection reports, or control plans.
• Knowledge of First Article Inspection and first piece inspection processes.
• Experience with fabricated steel, welded assemblies, tubing, racks, or industrial components is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
