Essbase REST APIs Hyperion Planning, HFM (supporting knowledge)

Roles & Responsibilities

Essbase 21c Architecture & Migration Design and govern target-state architecture for Essbase 21c on Azure IaaS/Paas Lead migration from:

o Essbase 11.x / 19c Essbase 21c

o On-premises Azure Cloud Assess existing cubes (BSO/ASO) and define: o Conversion strategy o Object remediation and refactoring

o Compatibility with 21c features Oversee migration of:

o Applications, cubes, outlines o Calc scripts, MaxL, MDX o Data, security filters, and substitutions Performance & Optimization Redesign cube structures for optimal 21c performance Optimize: o Aggregation strategies o Memory and cache settings o Parallel processing Lead performance benchmarking pre- and post-migration Integration & Ecosystem Support integrations with: o Hyperion Planning / HFM / FCCS o ERP systems (Oracle EBS/Fusion) Coordinate with reporting tools (Smart View, Financial Reporting) Enable hybrid coexistence with remaining on-prem components if applicable Managerial Skills: Leadership & Stakeholder Management Act as technical authority for Hyperion Azure transformation Collaborate with: o Finance o Infrastructure o Security o Microsoft Azure architects Mentor Hyperion and cloud engineers Provide migration estimates, risks, and mitigation strategies
