Job Description

Position Summary

Provide process engineering expertise to support the implementation and integration of the Cantor ERP system within manufacturing operations. The role focuses on ensuring alignment between engineering processes, shop floor workflows, and digital systems, including CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) terminals.

Key Responsibilities

  • ERP Implementation Support
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the deployment of the Cantor ERP system in manufacturing environments.
    • Translate manufacturing processes into ERP system requirements, workflows, and configurations.
    • Assist in system testing, validation, and troubleshooting during implementation phases.
  • Manufacturing Process Integration
    • Analyze existing production processes and identify gaps or improvement opportunities related to ERP integration.
    • Ensure accurate mapping of routings, work instructions, and production data into the ERP system.
    • Support standardization of manufacturing processes to align with ERP capabilities.
  • CIM Terminal Deployment
    • Support the integration and configuration of CIM terminals on the shop floor.
    • Ensure real-time data capture (e.g., labor tracking, production reporting, machine status) via CIM interfaces.
    • Work closely with operators and supervisors to ensure usability and adoption of CIM systems.
    • Ensure integrity and accuracy of engineering and manufacturing data within the ERP system.
    • Support data migration, validation, and ongoing maintenance activities.
    • Develop and maintain documentation related to processes, system workflows, and configurations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Liaise with IT, operations, production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration.
    • Provide technical guidance and training to end users on ERP and CIM functionality.
    • Support change management initiatives to drive user adoption.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) or relevant work experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments and process engineering.
  • Hands-on exposure to ERP systems (preferably Cantor or similar).
  • Understanding of CIM systems, shop floor data collection, and automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-mapping skills.
  • Experience with routings, and production workflows.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement principles.
