Job Description and Responsibilities

Join our team as a CNC Supervisor/Machinist and put your expertise to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. We're looking for a skilled professional with machining and programming experience, along with a strong understanding of API threading. In this role, you'll play a key part in producing high-quality components, optimizing machining processes, and ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety and precision.

  • Drive results by optimizing operations to increase productivity and improve Yield, First Pass Yield, Setup, Troubleshooting, and Changeovers
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of the safety, health, environmental, and quality programs
  • Plan, align, and direct daily production activities to ensure daily production requirements are met and/or exceeded and conformance with the monthly shipping plan is assured
  • Due diligence, make every reasonable effort to ensure the safety of the employees
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings
  • Work with operators and stakeholders to effectively solve problems
  • Provide or arrange training for employees to meet the standards of the job they are performing
  • Support all company and regulatory requirements
  • Effectively report mechanical/electrical concerns immediately and contribute to failure analysis
  • Engage employees in continuous improvement to identify and eliminate waste

Requirements

  • Machinist or a combination of education and equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of CNC machining and Programming experience
  • In-depth knowledge of CNC programming, machine operation, and maintenance
  • API and Premium connection knowledge 2+ years
  • Previous experience leading a team and overseeing work preferred
  • Demonstrated business operations and process improvement experience
  • Understanding and knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Familiarity with occupational health and safety (OH&S) regulations and safety standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to motivate team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
