Process Development Technician
Location: Wilmington, OH
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm
6-12 month assignment (with possibility of extension or conversion)
About the Role
We are looking for a Process Development Technician to help support experimental and clinical studies for oral solid dosage (OSD) manufacturing. This role involves hands-on lab work, running experiments, documenting results, and supporting GMP production of development and clinical batches. You will help keep processes compliant, organized, and running smoothly.
What You'll Do
  • Help design and run experiments to support process development.
  • Manufacture GMP clinical batches at different scales.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork and assist in updating batch records and SOPs.
  • Stay familiar with Manufacturing, Quality, and Development procedures.
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Keep track of project timelines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Assist with investigations and corrective actions (CAPAs).
  • Follow all cGMP, safety, and environmental rules.
  • Maintain clean, organized process areas.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering or a scientific field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3+ years of experience working with solid oral dosage manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles relevant to OSD equipment.
  • Experience with OSD processes such as blending, granulation, compression, coating, and encapsulation.
  • Basic data analysis skills used in process development.
