ProCare Therapy has an immediate opening for a resourceful and patient Paraprofessional to join a school district in the Walpole, MA community. This contract role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative team setting and genuinely enjoys helping students conquer daily classroom challenges. You will act as an essential support system, ensuring that students of varying abilities can access their education fully and confidently.

What You'll Do
Guide students through daily lesson plans, adapting the material as directed by the lead educator to fit individual needs.

Support classroom management by proactively addressing behavioral challenges and promoting positive peer interactions.

Help students build independence in their academic work, social skills, and daily school routines.

Assist teaching staff with preparing specialized learning materials and setting up assistive technology if needed.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism regarding student records and IEP goals.

What We're Looking For
Must meet Massachusetts state standards for educational aides (Associate’s degree, 48 college credits, or a passing score on the ParaPro exam).

Experience implementing behavior plans or working with neurodivergent youth is highly valued.

A proactive mindset—someone who can anticipate student needs and step in without waiting for direction.

Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude.
