Overview

The Pricebook Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the integrity of item, vendor, cost, retail, promotional, and product data within company systems while also supporting warehouse fulfillment and operational activities. This position supports stores, Category Managers, and administrative departments through accurate item setup, pricing execution, reporting, compliance, customer support, and fulfillment activities while developing and maintaining relationships that honor the Bosselman mission.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the execution of prices in the system by making sound decisions on all pricing operations; ensuring items are priced and costed within the guidelines established by the Category Managers.
  • Manages price-book software systems, spreadsheets and information, and updating when necessary.
  • Communicates price updates to the Operations Team and various administrative departments as needed.
  • Maintains accurate and complete item, vendor, cost, retail, promotional, UPC, and product attribute data within the Pricebook system.
  • Coordinates new item setup and maintenance, including UPC validation, vendor assignment, hierarchy placement, product attributes, and pricing. Executes and maintains regular and promotional pricing, including effective dates, and verify successful store-level execution.
  • Researches and resolves pricing, scanning, and pricebook issues while providing support to stores and internal departments.
  • Generates, maintains, and analyzes reports, including weekly sales trend and performance reporting, for various departments as requested.
  • Maintains vendor cost files and item cost information and ensures vendor costs are accurately maintained within the pricebook.
  • Provides operational and administrative support to the Pricebook Manager and Category Managers as needed.
  • Provides the highest quality customer experience and exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers by handling all questions, complaints, and inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
  • Assists with warehouse and fulfillment operations by processing, picking, packing, shipping store supply, uniform, and other non-resale merchandise orders.
  • Performs routine audits and testing to ensure the accuracy of item maintenance, pricing, promotions, UPC information, and compliance with product, tax, deposit, age-restricted, and other regulatory requirements, including validation of newly added items in testing and lab environments.

Additional Job Duties:

  • Assists in other duties, as assigned.
  • Provides customer support for products and services included but not limited to gift card services-including inquiries, and responding to customer concerns, and promotional items.
  • Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled.
  • Escalates issues as needed to the appropriate individual or department.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed)

  • Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising or closely related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Two years of related purchasing and/or pricing experience is preferred
  • Two years of merchandising, procurement, or inventory experience in a consumer-based retail environment is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years back-office software experience in convenience store industry.
  • Experience with pricing software such as JD Edward or Retalix is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Advanced experience in Excel required.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent understanding of pricing, inventory and data maintenance.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with effective follow-up and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.ย ย ย ย 
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Must be able to communicate in English. - IF APPLICABLE.
  • Ability to work with limited or no direct supervision.
  • Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change when required.
