Job description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Determine and implement the set up and the procedures for the Pricebook and POS system. This includes retail zones as needed by the Sales & Marketing department, retail departments as needed by the Finance Department, naming conventions based on the needs of the Operations and Loss Prevention Departments, and POS attributes such as taxability, WIC and food stamps.
  • Review Sales Department publications and communications to ensure that the information presented is consistent with information that has been entered into the Pricebook, and that it is accurate, complete, and properly formatted.
  • Gather item information and cost info from vendors
  • Implement retail pricing and promotions
  • Prepare competetion surveys
  • Review pricebook exception reports and bill vendors for overcharge.
  • File and track vendor rebates
