Job Description:

The Distribution Center Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for the Loss Prevention, Physical Security and Fire Safety Programs within the DC, training and development, and works in partnership with Operations management to protect company assets and resolve shrink related issues.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Lead hourly associates in the implementation and execution of all loss prevention, physical security and safety programs within the DC
  • Provide supervision of onsite and offsite Contract Security Officers
  • Ensure all shrink awareness, access control, alarm system management, merchandise audit, security programs, trailer and seal control
  • Secure facility and its associates during emergencies and labor-related concerns and events
  • Provide training of LP associates within the building to ensure technical and professional development
  • Develop, in conjunction with the facilities management and DC Occupational Health and Safety staff, fire/safety programs to ensure compliance with company insurance, OSHA and NFPA guidelines
  • Develop highly trained and competent hourly staff for future business needs
  • Develop relationships with outside agencies, local police, fire departments, insurance companies and external security agencies
  • Lead respective team through all investigations within the DC
  • Perform special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
  • Knowledge of Distribution Center operations
  • Ability and desire to learn Loss Prevention, physical security and safety regulations
  • Ability and desire to learn Investigations/interviewing skills
  • Ability and desire to learn skills related to directing security operations and Loss Prevention processes
