The Conservatory Social Media position for Federal Work Study eligible students will work closely with the Conservatory Director of Recruitment and Retention. This position will gain practical workplace experience in a professional environment. This position provides students with hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, branding, and audience engagement while helping strengthen the Conservatory’s online presence.


Learning Opportunities:

This position provides real-world experience in arts administration, social media strategy and content marketing, design and multimedia production, analytics and performance reporting, professional communication and learning how these functions support organizational goals and daily operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Create, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok).
  • Develop graphics, photos, videos, and written content that align with the organization's brand and messaging.
  • Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns to promote events, programs, and initiatives.
  • Monitor social media accounts by responding to comments and messages as directed and engaging with followers.
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule and content calendar.
  • Perform other marketing and communications duties as assigned.
