This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems sector in Melbourne, FL. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Systems Engineering organization. The selected candidate will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Other duties include, but are not limited to: Perform analyses at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications for Associate Systems Engineer (T01) A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution by August 2027. Be majoring in or having majored in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or similar STEM degree.

Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results
