Role Summary 

The Solution Consultant (Pre-Sales) infrastructure/ government focused  serves as a primary pre-sales technical and consulting resource  , responsible for understanding customer needs, designing appropriate solutions, and supporting the sales process through discovery, solution scoping, demonstrations, and proposal development. This role partners closely with Sales, Professional Services, and Product teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, properly scoped, and aligned with customer business objectives. Solutions Consultants play a critical role in shaping customer confidence, solution quality, and long-term account success. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Leads discovery engagements to understand customer business objectives, workflows, and technical requirements 
  • Designs solution architectures aligned to ARKANCE offerings, Autodesk technologies, and industry best practices; balances value, complexity, and delivery feasibility 
  • Partners with Sales to develop account knowledge, deal strategies, and customer engagement plans 
  • Delivers tailored product presentations, demonstrations, and solution walkthroughs; provides competitive analysis throughout the sales cycle 
  • Prepares scopes of work, estimates, and proposal inputs; ensures solutions are accurately scoped, clearly documented, and aligned with delivery capabilities 
  • Supports customer success through technical implementation, consulting, mentoring, and training services when required 
  • Provides technical guidance to PS delivery teams to ensure solutions are delivered as intended 
  • Contributes to development of best practices, templates, demos, and sales enablement materials 
  • Represents ARKANCE through industry events, presentations, and thought leadership activities 


Requirements:

 Qualifications 

  • Deep knowledge of Autodesk solutions and complementary AECO technologies across the full AEC&O industry 
  • Strong understanding of industry design, delivery, and BIM collaboration workflows 
  • Infrastructure/ government focused  
  • 5–7 years of technical pre-sales or solutions consulting experience with consistent delivery on complex deals 
  • Exceptional presentation, demonstration, and solution storytelling skills in customer-facing environments 
  • Proven ability to influence deal strategy and engage credibly with executive decision-makers 

Decision-Making & Autonomy Full autonomy on solution design and pre-sales engagement strategy for complex deals. Communicates directly with Pre-Sales Director on strategic opportunities and portfolio-level solution decisions.  


Salary Range: $120,000 -$140,000
