Description
The Director, Practice Management will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, growth, and strategy within independent financial advisory firms with a particular focus on AI adoption and integration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in practice management, technology implementation, and business development, along with hands-on experience utilizing AI at both the corporate and advisory firm levels. This role will involve both strategic leadership and hands-on program management, focusing on developing group coaching and consulting programs designed to enhance practice management for independent financial advisors.

Responsibilities
Practice Management & Operational Efficiency: 
  • Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency across financial advisory practices. 
  • Develop and implement growth strategies for independent advisory firms, focusing on client acquisition, retention, and profitability. 
  • Oversee the implementation of technology solutions that improve firm-wide operations, including CRM systems, financial planning tools, and back-office processes. 
  • Provide ongoing practice management support, ensuring the integration of best practices for day-to-day operations. 
Program Management & Development: 
  • Design and implement group coaching and consulting programs aimed at improving practice management for financial advisory firms. 
  • Lead and manage program initiatives, including developing content, curriculum, and program materials that align with the needs of independent advisors. 
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to refine program offerings and ensure alignment with firm goals. 
AI Integration & Corporate-Level Strategy: 
  • Utilize AI technologies to develop a training agent and coaching agent for financial advisory firms, enhancing advisor performance and practice management. 
  • Oversee the implementation and integration of AI solutions across both the corporate level and at the independent advisory firm level. 
  • Drive the use of AI tools within advisor offices to automate administrative tasks, enhance client experiences, and streamline business operations. 
  • Collaborate with the AI development team to ensure tools are user-friendly, effective, and meet the needs of financial advisors. 
Leadership & Personnel Management: 
  • Lead, manage, and mentor teams focused on practice management, AI integration, and program development.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and technology, to ensure alignment of practice management programs and AI tools with firm goals. 
  • Provide ongoing training and support to team members, empowering them to implement strategies that drive growth and operational success. 
Business Planning & Strategy: 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic business plans that drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence. 
  • Use data-driven insights to assess and refine business strategies, ensuring alignment with both short-term and long-term firm goals. 
  • Support the firm’s leadership in identifying new opportunities for growth, market positioning, and client engagement. 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required. Finance, Economics, or related area of study preferred.
  • 3 or more years of experience required in practice management for independent financial advisory firms, with a proven track record of driving operational efficiency, growth, and technology implementation.
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing business plans, growth strategies, and technology solutions within the financial services industry. 
  • Strong understanding of the independent advisory firm ecosystem, including client management, back-office operations, and service delivery. 
  • Experience in program management, particularly in developing coaching and consulting programs for financial advisors. 
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing AI solutions at the corporate level or within independent financial advisory practices. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. 
  • Deep knowledge of financial technology platforms, CRM systems, and practice management tools with a particular focus on how automation drives business growth. 
  • Expertise in AI and its applications within the financial services industry, particularly in enhancing advisor operational efficiency and advisor performance. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and advisory teams. 
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
