Job Description Summary:

Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for a Practice Management Coordinator to work with our Practice Management team in our Chicago, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Denver, or Washington D.C. office. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to support the Practice Group Leader, and the firm's Practice Management department in managing the business, talent, and administration of the Practice Group. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients.

Job Description:

What you would do:

  • Support practice group managers on various practice group and lawyer needs
  • Assist with lawyer performance evaluations, promotions, compensation and bonuses
  • Assist with making recommendations on lawyer staffing levels and hiring needs
  • Coordinate the lawyer orientation, relocation and departure processes
  • Assist Practice Group Leaders and Practice Group Directors in assessing the productivity and profitability of the practice group's lawyers, paraprofessionals and client relationships
  • Coordinate the preparation and management of the marketing and operating budgets for the practice group, and assist with preparing the annual revenue budgets for billable hours
  • Coordinate partner and practice group meetings, including drafting agendas, maintaining minutes and facilitating communications
  • Special projects and duties, as assigned

The anticipated initial hourly rate for someone who is hired into this position is $30.75 - $34.75/hour based on a 37.5 hour a week schedule.

Actual initial hourly rate may be above or below the above-identified range and will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location where the position is filled, in all cases consistent with applicable law. This is a non-exempt role paid on an hourly basis. The initial hourly rate listed above is just one component of Faegre Drinker's total compensation and benefits package for professional staff, which includes, but is not limited to, a discretionary bonus; life, health, accident, and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
