Excelcare at Troy Hills is seeking a dependable and hardworking Pot Washer/Cleaner to support our Dietary Services team in a skilled nursing setting. This role plays a key part in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment while ensuring proper storage and handling of food and supplies.

Pot Washer/Cleaner Responsibilities

  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store pots, pans, trays, utensils, and kitchen equipment

  • Take out garbage and recycling and maintain clean waste areas

  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, workstations, and equipment

  • Receive and put away deliveries, ensuring items are stored correctly and safely

  • Stock kitchen supplies, food items, and storage areas as needed

  • Clean and organize freezer and storage areas to maintain proper sanitation and accessibility

  • Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure proper use of chemicals and temperatures

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies

  • Assist dietary staff with additional kitchen support duties as needed

Pot Washer/Cleaner Qualifications
