Performs repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce windows either in Vinyl or Aluminum plants by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Removes glass from A-Frame Cart or Rack
  • Sets glass on conveyor belt of washer
  • Picks up specific LowE glass and runs all four sides through an edge delete table before setting on washer conveyor
  • Changes the water filters on the washer as needed
  • Flushes the water tanks at the end of each shift/day
  • Changes the air filters on the washer as needed
  • Tests the LowE detector at the beginning of each shift
  • Delivers carts to Glass Washer
  • Ensures that equipment used is operable and maintained
  • May be required to works at different work stations as production needs require.
  • Works in environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced.
  • Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures.
  • May be required to work overtime as business needs require.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
