Job Description
Pay Rate: $7.50 Hourly Rate | Part Time | Shift Details: 4:00PM-12:30AM Thursday, Friday & Saturday (OFF Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position
Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will assist the bartender/cocktail servers in providing satisfactory beverage service by maintaining supplies of garnish, glassware, ice, and liquor at assigned workstation. You will report to the Beverage Shift Manager.
Primary Tasks:
1. You will check with and assist Bartender in maintaining supplies i.e. straws, stir sticks, napkins, and matches for workstation.
2. You will rotate stock, wash and stock glassware, maintain stock of fruit fill and replace.
3. Fill ice bins, empty garbage, replace trash liners, wipe and pick up surfaces as time allows, check kegs, replace dirty bar mats, sweep floors, clean screens in glass washer, wipe down bottles, clean spouts, clean beer drains, gun drains, counter drains and ice bins.
4. You will cut slice and peel perishable garnishes and fruits.
5. Scoop ice from bins, transport to service areas and replenish ice containers.
6. Box and save empty liquor bottles as they accumulate for later returns and requisitions.
7. You will transport taps, replace and perform routine maintenance requirements on heavy beer kegs.
8. Check station before, after and during shift to ensure proper setup and cleanliness are maintained.
9. You will comply with all Oklahoma Liquor Laws and the Choctaw Nation Alcoholic Beverage Ordinances
10. Other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older. (Minimum age is 18 for establishments that serve only 3.2 beer).
ABLE Certification
Read write and understand simple instructions.
Basic math knowledge is required to perform this job
Previous bar or restaurant experience preferred.
