Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven IT Manager with a strong background in the Food & Beverage (F&B) franchise industry and proven expertise in Point of Sale (POS) system implementation and management. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional technology initiatives, manage end-to-end POS projects, and ensure seamless integration of IT solutions across franchise operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of POS system implementation and upgrade projects across multiple franchise locations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, and Marketing to align IT solutions with business objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee third-party service providers for POS hardware and software.
  • Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and compliance with data privacy and security standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and support for store-level IT infrastructure, including network, hardware, and troubleshooting software.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Analyze business requirements and recommend technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Monitor and manage IT budgets, project timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Train and support franchise staff on POS systems and related technologies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to F&B and retail IT.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or project leadership role.
  • Hands-on experience managing POS system rollouts (e.g., QU, PAR, NCR, Toast, Revel, etc.) in a multi-unit F&B or retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of F&B operations, including order management, inventory, and customer engagement systems.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience using tools like Jira, Asana, or MS Project.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with mobile ordering platforms, self-service kiosks, restaurant technology ecosystems, and digital payment integrations in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Experience supporting large, multi-location operations and enterprise technology rollouts.
  • Experience working within franchised restaurant systems is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with data analytics platforms and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of compliance standards such as PCI-DSS and data privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA, GDPR).
  • Bilingual in English and Korean preferred
