Job description

CBRE is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex construction and renovation projects from initiation through closeout. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional client service skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal oversight.
The Senior Project Manager is a hands-on delivery leader responsible for developing budgets and schedules, managing contractors and vendors, and ensuring projects meet client expectations for quality, cost, and timing. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with extensive project management experience across multiple sectors who thrives in fast-paced environments and can maintain excellent client relationships while delivering results.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new project opportunities, leveraging market knowledge to drive business growth.
  • Independently develop complete project estimates, proposals, and schedules, and present them effectively to clients.
  • Execute subcontractor procurement, including competitive bidding, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Oversee all aspects of subcontractor and vendor performance, ensuring adherence to project requirements, budgets, and schedules.
  • Manage full project financials, including billing, budget tracking, change orders, and cost reconciliation.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all milestones.
  • Spend substantial time onsite to monitor quality, safety, and progress.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, setting expectations and resolving issues.
  • Represent CBRE with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional client service.

Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of proven project management experience in construction, preferably across multiple sectors such as commercial, healthcare, life sciences, education, and industrial.
  • Track record of delivering projects ranging from $500,000 to $10 million in value.
  • Strong capabilities in estimating, subcontractor negotiation, contract administration, financial management, and scheduling.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent projects without dedicated administrative support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
  • Degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management preferred; relevant experience required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex information.
