Job Title: Plant Manager III (Pork Processing)

Job Summary: We are seeking a high-caliber Plant Manager III to lead all functional areas of a large-scale Pork processing facility. This role is responsible for the oversight of three production shifts, maintenance, personnel safety, shipping/receiving, sanitation, scheduling, and quality control. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader capable of driving process improvements while ensuring food safety, quality, and legality across all phases of production.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage several diverse groups of personnel across multiple departments to ensure efficient plant operations.
  • Motivate and guide management teams to enhance employee skill levels and facilitate Talent Mapping and Succession Planning.
  • Resolve quality issues for incoming and outgoing goods and review cost/performance data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Initiate, evaluate, and implement corrective actions for production problems as they arise.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with food safety regulations and corporate quality standards.

Required Qualifications:
  • Industry Experience: 8+ years of progressive leadership experience specifically within the Meat Industry (Pork/Beef/Poultry).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a general professional or technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Technical Skills: General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Working knowledge of SAP systems is highly preferred.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of managing diverse teams in a high-pressure production environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive-level reporting and floor-level engagement.

  • Travel: Requires 6 to 11 trips per year.
