Cheeca Lodge & Spa, an award-winning Four Diamond resort in the Florida Keys, is seeking energetic and guest-focused Pool Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. This role provides food and beverage service to guests enjoying our beautiful resort pools and outdoor recreation areas.
As a Pool Server, you'll spend your day interacting with guests who are on vacation, celebrating special occasions, and creating lifelong memories. We're looking for team members who enjoy being outdoors, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about providing exceptional hospitality.
What You'll Do
Guest Service
  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver beverages, cocktails, and food items promptly while ensuring presentation standards are maintained.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, personalized service.
  • Build rapport with guests and create memorable experiences that encourage repeat visits.
  • Answer questions regarding menu items, cocktails, resort amenities, and activities.
  • Promote specialty cocktails, featured menu items, and resort experiences.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, involving management when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service area around the pool deck.

Resort Operations
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Restock service stations, ice, glassware, and supplies.
  • Monitor pool areas and communicate guest needs to management.
  • Ensure all service standards and health regulations are followed.
  • Support fellow team members and assist where needed to maintain smooth operations.

Cash Handling & POS
  • Accurately enter orders and process guest payments.
  • Handle cash, room charges, and credit card transactions according to resort procedures.
  • Balance receipts and complete required paperwork as needed.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must be willing and able to work outside and walk on a pool deck area.
  • Previous restaurant, bar, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous pool, beach club, resort, or cocktail service experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Positive attitude and team-player mentality.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
  • NO FACIAL or TONGUE PIERCINGS.
  • NO FACIAL, HAND, or FACE/NECK TATOOS
