About the role
At Four Seasons Hotel Nashville, the Pool Host serves as the first point of contact for guests enjoying our Rooftop & Pool experience. This role is key to creating a warm, welcoming, and seamless arrival by managing seating, reservations, and guest flow with professionalism and hospitality.
What you will do
  • Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly according to party size, preferences, and operational needs.
  • Answer phones following Four Seasons standards, handling reservations and inquiries for the pool area and other hotel outlets.
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond to questions or concerns professionally, and recognize returning guests by name.
  • Maintain the appearance and accuracy of daily menus and develop working knowledge of all offerings, specials, and features.
  • Support smooth operations by ensuring proper table setup and making adjustments as needed.
  • Uphold Four Seasons Work Rules, Standards of Conduct, and brand values in all interactions.
  • Collaborate harmoniously with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments.
  • Complete special assignments such as menu updates, signage, or administrative tasks as requested.
What you bring
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Six to twelve months of experience in restaurants, food & beverage, or a related hospitality environment.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • A working knowledge of Four Seasons standards, restaurant operations, and hotel services (or the ability to learn quickly on the job).
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and reservation systems.
