Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Polystyrene Line Operator to join our production team on the 3rd shift. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining polystyrene production equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality output. Please note this is a warehouse/machine shop atmosphere, must be able to work in such an environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor polystyrene production lines in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance
  • Adjust machine settings to meet production specifications
  • Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
  • Record production data and report any issues or deviations
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred 
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience required
  • Ability to work overnight shifts consistently
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to learn and follow safety and operational procedures
