About Northern Gulf Services / LCS : Northern Gulf and its affiliated entities is/are a renewable fuel logistics and distribution company(s), focused on aggregating, separating and selling used-cooking oil (UCO) along the Gulf coast. The company seeks to make a positive impact on the local community and environment. Our business places collection bins at customer locations to collect UCO and grease from cooking and food production operations. Representative customers include: restaurants, stadiums, institutions and food manufacturing facilities.
Job description: The Collection Driver, l primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: delivering bins to new customers, repair existing bins in the field, execute collection routes, and support the overall mission of the Collection Team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
CDL Class A License (Required)
At least three years of over the road experience
Some experience in a waste collection role (preferred)
Ability to work nights / weekends
Basic maintenance / mechanical aptitude (Preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Safe operation of UCO Collection vehicle.
2. Primary responsibility is to conduct point-to-point pickup and drop off of bulk UCO product with some overnight trips required. This will be conducted via Semi and tanker. When none of these requirements are available, you will be scheduled for VacTruck.
3. Ensure the UCO collection vehicle is in proper working order and that maintenance logs are updated and accurate.
4. Execute the collection routes provided by the route management team.
5. Log relevant data regarding the conditions of the collection bins and relay any pertinent information to management.
6. Relay any communication from the restaurants management team back to the appropriate party.
7. Unload truck at warehouse and ensure the volume gathered is recorded by operations.
8. Submit maintenance tickets for damaged bins.
9. Fill out Customer Relationship Management information for each stop on route.
10. Perform necessary functions and duties around processing plant, activities to include but not limited to: cleaning trucks, collection bins, minor repairs, oil processing, other.
