Job description

K&M Tire is a family-owned wholesale tire distributor serving tire and automotive dealers throughout the Southeast since 1985. We distribute tires across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia, with locations in Hickory NC, Raleigh NC, Greenville NC, Richmond VA, and Walterboro SC.

K&M Tire is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative for our Richmond, VA location. This position is the first point of contact for walk-in customers and plays a key role in day-to-day counter operations, hotshot delivery coordination, and general office support.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers, ensuring a smooth and professional pickup experience
  • Verify and process orders for customer pickup
  • Maintain and coordinate the hotshot delivery program, ensuring timely dispatch and tracking of orders
  • Answer phones and route calls as needed
  • Handle general office duties including filing, data entry, and order documentation
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure orders are pulled and ready for pickup or delivery
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional counter/front office area
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service or office experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems
