THE ROLE:  The Warehouse Associate supports the Warehouse Lead in the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, and distribution of materials. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting contractor order fulfillment, operating warehouse equipment safely, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receiving – conduct and/or oversee offload of items, check-in, put away and process receipt in RFMS.
  • Shipping – conduct and/or oversee the picking/staging and shipping of material for our contractors and process shipment in RFMS
  • Maintain proper housekeeping per our company checklist
  • Conduct and record forklift inspections daily, scheduled forklift maintenance as needed
  • Conduct inventory counts at the direction of the Purchasing Manager
  • Communicate with purchasing on any issues with receiving and/or inventory.
  • Maintain communication with citywide team (GM, Field Managers, Job/Service Coordinator, Dispatch) on any issues regarding the warehouse impacting other departments.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with installation crews.
  • Fulfill orders accurately, including last-minute add-ons by coordinating with the Project and Service Coordinators.
  • Follow-up tracking for satisfaction.
  • Helping other team members when needed.
  • Attending company meetings (virtually & in person) as/when required.
  • Must be willing to assist field supervisor, including material delivery and vendor pickups. (Compensation will include reimbursement for travel) 

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Safe forklift operating experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Experience with flooring and wall tile is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience using RFMS, RFMS Warehouse, Schedule Pro is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with customer service and interaction.
  • Understand basic math skills to be used in pricing material, and costing orders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professionalism always.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Possess strong time management skills.
  • Not intimidated by social interaction on the phone or in person.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
