Job description

Job Duties and Other Information Please click HERE to apply. Works with project teams within the Office of Public Health's (OPH) Bureau of Finance and Administration (BAFO) to create project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Manages assigned projects in accordance with the bureau's project management lifecycle.

Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Assists BAFO in the development of policies and procedures pertaining to the bureau's project management lifecycle. Work with program office liaisons to become familiar with the department's business processes.

Identifies project resources and work with the bureau to assign individual responsibilities. Reviews deliverables prepared by the project team before passing to client. Schedules and lead all meetings for assigned projects.

Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented. Recommends strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes. Reviews completed installations to improve the implementation of future projects.

Other tasks as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree, or Associates degree with 3 years professional experience, or 6 years professional experience in lieu of the degree. Minimum 3 years professional experience with managing projects.

Minimum 1 year professional experience with Monday.com, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server and/or Microsoft SharePoint. Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills. Great attention to detail and follow up

Ability to manage projects, assignments, and competing priorities. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel. DESIRED: Advanced degree.

Minimum 4 years professional experience with managing projects. Minimum 2 years professional experience with Monday.com, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server and/or Microsoft SharePoint. Minimum 1 year professional experience managing financial, budgetary, or fiscal-related projects, including tracking expenditures, timelines, and deliverables

CAPM, PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP, OPM3 or relevant industry certifications.
