Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activity, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to all visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, loading and unloading zones, parking areas, and the outer perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and note unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and/or designated access points, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with post orders.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, communicate with supervisors and/or local contacts during operational disruptions, and complete required reports before the end of the shift.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
