As a Client Account Manager II, you will be in charge of driving a sophisticated book of business featuring some of the largest advertisers at Pinterest. You'll work directly with some of our key advertisers as a trusted consultant to their business. Your strategic advice, analytical skills and sales skills are core to bringing to life the value we deliver as a platform.

In this role, you will help Nestle and its portfolio of brands connect with consumers in moments of inspiration, discovery, and early decision-making across some of Pinterest's most relevant categories. You'll partner closely with brand, agency, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate category insights, audience strategy, and media priorities into campaigns that strengthen awareness and consideration across a diverse CPG portfolio. This is an opportunity to shape how one of the world's largest advertisers shows up on Pinterest through thoughtful planning, strong account leadership, and a deep understanding of the full-funnel role inspiration plays in consumer packaged goods marketing.

What you'll do:

  • Plan, execute, upsell, and optimize data-driven upper-funnel awareness ad campaigns for CPG brands in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with brand marketing leads, media agencies, and shopper marketing teams to embed Pinterest's awareness solutions into CPG clients' annual brand planning cycles.
  • Ensure accurate implementation of CPG clients' first-party CRM and shopper data segments, coordinating cross-functionally to power precise audience targeting across new product launches and brand awareness campaigns.
  • Optimize media campaigns and audience targeting strategies by refining broad and interest-based audiences to maximize reach and frequency for CPG brands.
  • Deliver weekly campaign performance reports, translating brand lift, reach, and share-of-voice metrics into clear narratives that demonstrate Pinterest's upper-funnel impact to CPG brand and media teams.
    Advise CPG clients on Pinterest's ad products, targeting, bidding, and measurement strategies.
  • Provide exceptional client service through communication, issue resolution, and seamless execution.
  • Simplify complex processes, upsell and pitch strategic solutions, and continuously improve campaigns.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in digital advertising sales, preferably with performance advertisers.
  • Proven ability to manage mutually beneficial client accounts independently.
  • Strong knowledge of digital ad technologies across Search, Shopping, Display, and Social.
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities and achieving goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; skilled at building lasting partnerships.
  • Demonstrates curiosity and a willingness to explore AI tools to improve day-to-day productivity, including campaign setup, performance reporting, client communications, and research. Leverages AI to work more efficiently, whether it's streamlining optimizations, preparing for client meetings, or surfacing insights from campaign data, while maintaining attention to detail and a high bar for accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.

In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 2x week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices: New York.
