Purpose of Position
  • Ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment through picking, packing, and basic inventory management, including restocking and organizing products.
  • Support racquet services by stringing racquets, maintaining quality standards and contributing to overall workflow efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Picking and Packing
  • Pick products for customer orders following established procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Pack customer orders and support key order fulfillment functions to meet shipping timelines and quality standards.
  • Choose appropriate packing materials to ensure product safety during transit while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Racquet Service
  • Install strings on racquets with precision and efficiency, adhering to specified stringing requirements.
  • Inspect racquets and strings for damage or defects and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Repair or replace racquet accessories as needed, including grommets, grips, and other components.

General Warehouse Duties
  • Perform assigned duties promptly and efficiently to support overall warehouse operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by assisting coworkers during peak periods or high-volume times.
  • Engage in ongoing learning to develop relevant skills, procedures, and product knowledge.
  • Carry out general cleaning and preparation tasks, including trash removal, box breakdown, and product handling.
  • Support warehouse workflow through tasks such as bagging products, baling cardboard, and stocking workstations with necessary materials.

Supervisory Responsibility - This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment - This role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and requires routine use of standard warehouse equipment for warehousing/shipping products. This includes, but is not limited to, rolling carts, hand scanners, tape guns, box cutters, cardboard boxes, ladders, hand trucks, pallet jacks etc. Additionally, position requires use of tablets/computers. The environment is designed to promote both focused work and creative brainstorming The use of racquet stringing machines and related tools/supplies may also be required to support the needs of the business.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
  • Regularly required to perform tasks that require repeating motions that use both hands, wrists, and fingers to handle objects and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is frequently required to move about to accomplish tasks and may include standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, climbing or crouching. The employee is rarely required to sit.
  • Requires standing for prolonged periods of time and use of both hands, fingers, wrists, and arms while stringing racquets.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, bend, twist, reach, kneel, crouch or climb.
  • Regularly required to type on a computer, use tablets, and use computer software.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • Must regularly lift and/or move objects that weigh less than ten pounds, occasionally lift and/or move items that weigh between 10 - 20 pounds and rarely lift and/or move items that weigh between 20 - 50 pounds.
