About the Opportunity


A growing organization is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at its New Castle distribution facility. This role serves as the on-site leader, combining hands-on warehouse execution with team leadership and operational oversight. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for inventory control, shipping and receiving operations, logistics coordination, vendor management, and maintaining strict safety and security standards across all warehouse activities.


This position reports directly to senior operations leadership and plays a critical role in ensuring efficient, accurate, and cost-effective warehouse performance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.


What You’ll Do


● Serve as the on-site leader and hands-on coach for warehouse personnel

● Supervise, train, develop, and schedule warehouse staff across all operational functions

● Oversee receiving, identification, organization, storage, inventory control, and distribution of materials

● Verify inbound shipments and ensure accurate inventory placement and documentation

● Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, and reporting processes

● Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and service providers to ensure operational efficiency

● Schedule, consolidate, and coordinate outbound shipments to minimize transportation costs

● Ensure all service commitments related to quality, quantity, and delivery timelines are achieved

● Implement and enforce warehouse security procedures to safeguard materials and assets

● Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout all warehouse operations

● Ensure equipment and materials are properly maintained and protected from damage

● Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, environmental standards, and labor requirements

● Assist in developing warehouse procedures and ensure consistent adherence to established protocols

● Develop, monitor, and report on operational KPIs and performance metrics

● Analyze operational data to identify efficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives

● Communicate operational performance, challenges, and recommendations to leadership

● Perform other duties as assigned

● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in warehouse management, logistics, supply chain, or a related field

● Minimum of 2 years of warehouse supervisory or management experience
