Now Hiring: Physician Relations & Patient Experience Specialist

Do you love building relationships, solving problems, and creating exceptional customer experiences? ย Edmonds Eye MD is looking for a Physician Relations & Patient Experience Specialist to serve as the bridge between our specialists, referring providers, and patients. This role will support North King County and South Snohomish County, helping strengthen physician partnerships and ensure every referred patient experiences seamless, concierge-level care from referral to follow-up.

In this highly visible role, you'll build and maintain strong relationships with referring providers, collaborate across teams, and help make healthcare easier for both providers and patients. As our Physician Relations & Patient Experience Specialist, you will:

  • Develop trusted relationships with referring physicians and their office teams.
  • Visit provider offices, educate referral partners, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Guide patients through the referral process, removing barriers and ensuring timely access to care.
  • Coordinate communication between providers, patients, and our clinical teams.
  • Ensure referring physicians receive timely updates, consultation notes, and operative reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and elevate the referral experience.
  • Serve as the voice of both our providers and patients by sharing feedback that drives continuous improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of healthcare experience, preferably working with physician offices, referrals, patient navigation, or customer service.
  • Experience building professional relationships and coordinating across multiple departments.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with EMRs, CRM systems, or referral management software is a plus.
  • Ophthalmology or specialty practice experience is preferred but not required.
