Job description

Thank you for applying to be a Guest Teacher with St. Vrain Valley Schools (SVVS)!  At SVVS, we value the health and well-being of our employees and are committed to fostering a culture of wellness that supports healthy habits, community, and a high quality of life.

As a Guest Teacher (also known as a Substitute Teacher), you will be eligible for:

  • PERA (Public Employees' Retirement Association pension program)
  • District Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Paid sick leave benefit

SVVS is a paperless organization. If selected, you will complete your onboarding documents online. Once all paperwork is submitted, you will be invited to attend a Guest Teacher Orientation, held at least one to two times a month.

To move forward in the selection process:

  • You must provide at least two professional references with valid email addresses on your application.
  • Reference checks are required before any offer can be made.
  • You will be notified via email if you are selected to join our Guest Teacher team.
