Job Title: PeopleSoft Administrator

Location: Tampa, FL (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Employment Type: Contract

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Administrator to manage, maintain, and support enterprise PeopleSoft environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PeopleTools administration, environment management, WebLogic, Tuxedo, security administration, and performance tuning. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance of PeopleSoft applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and upgrade PeopleSoft PeopleTools and PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA).
  • Perform PeopleSoft environment setup, cloning, refreshes, and migrations across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
  • Create, configure, and maintain:
    • Application Server Domains
    • Process Scheduler Domains
    • Web Server Domains
  • Administer and troubleshoot Oracle WebLogic and Tuxedo environments.
  • Configure and maintain SSL certificates, Single Sign-On (SSO), and secure authentication mechanisms.
  • Monitor PeopleSoft system performance and perform tuning to optimize application availability and response times.
  • Analyze cache, logs, and system diagnostics to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Manage PeopleSoft security including:
    • User provisioning
    • Roles
    • Permission Lists
    • Row-Level Security
  • Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and environment restoration activities.
  • Coordinate deployments, patches, and PeopleTools upgrades.
  • Work closely with functional teams, developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams during implementations and production support.
  • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and environment standards.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of PeopleSoft Administration experience.
  • Strong experience with:
    • PeopleTools Installation & Configuration
    • PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA)
    • Oracle WebLogic Server
    • Oracle Tuxedo
  • Experience performing environment cloning, migrations, and refreshes.
  • Expertise in Application Server, Web Server, and Process Scheduler administration.
  • Experience configuring SSL and SSO integrations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving:
    • Cache issues
    • Log analysis
    • Performance bottlenecks
  • Hands-on experience administering PeopleSoft Security (Users, Roles, Permission Lists).
  • Experience supporting backup and recovery operations.
  • Ability to work in production support and maintenance environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle Database administration concepts.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).
  • Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale PeopleSoft implementations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
