Job description

Job Title: PeopleSoft Pension Integrator / Support Analyst

Job Summary:

Next Generation, Inc., an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Pension Integrator / Support Analyst to support critical initiatives within a highly customized PeopleSoft Pension Administration environment for a large, regulated public-sector pension system. This role will focus on enhancing, supporting, and integrating complex pension processes, ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory, and collective bargaining requirements while maintaining high system performance and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance, modify, and troubleshoot existing pension administration processes within PeopleSoft HCM.
  • Design and implement new pension calculations, estimates, and workflows to ensure accuracy, compliance, and security.
  • Support and maintain customizations required to meet pension legislation, tier structures, regulatory mandates, and union contract rules.
  • Configure and maintain pension rules including:
    • Eligibility and participation
    • Service and contribution consolidation (hours, earnings, contributions)
    • Vesting rules
    • Benefit formulas and optional payment forms
  • Support the integration of PeopleSoft Pension Administration with other PeopleSoft HCM modules and external bolt-on applications, including pension loan administration systems.
  • Maintain and optimize converted legacy pension data within a centralized, highly customized PeopleSoft environment.
  • Provide production support, issue resolution, testing, and documentation for pension system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, actuaries, payroll, and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Mathematics, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a PeopleSoft Pensions Application Integrator and Support Analyst.
  • Strong functional and technical understanding of PeopleSoft Pension Administration and HCM integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in team-based environments.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • 10+ years of hands-on PeopleTools experience
  • 10+ years of hand-on PeopleCode experience
