Located in the vibrant city of Fort Myers, our outpatient office offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere for both our staff and patients. You will work alongside other licensed healthcare professionals in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology and resources. This onsite role requires an accommodating schedule, typically from Monday to Friday, with rotating hospital shifts on weekends to address patient needs promptly and efficiently.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with impairments and functional limitations, creating personalized treatment plans in accordance with physician referrals.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to patient goals while documenting progress in compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including evaluations, treatment notes, discharge summaries, and ensure detailed billing procedures are followed.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel, optimizing patient care through effective team dynamics.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by communicating regularly with physicians, nurses, and other specialists to adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Assess the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Stay current on rehabilitation practices and contribute to the development of clinical protocols that elevate patient outcomes.

You will be providing care to a diverse population, including patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain ailments. Your compassionate approach will ensure that each patient receives tailored therapy that caters to their specific age, development, and rehabilitation needs.

• Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution or program.
• Current licensure and registration as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and provide clear updates to patients.
• Proficient in the use of computer systems and electronic medical record documentation.

• At least two years of experience working in a physical therapy setting is highly preferred.
• Experience with outpatient rehabilitation, particularly in treating musculoskeletal and functional impairments.
• Background in a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care, enhancing recovery pathways.
