Peak Performance Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Bakersfield, California. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to establish a clear understanding of their functional status, pain levels, and rehabilitation needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific goals, ensuring engagement and motivation throughout the therapy process.
  • Administer hands-on therapy techniques, exercises, and modalities to facilitate recovery and improve mobility and strength.
  • Evaluate and adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and emerging needs, maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, therapeutic devices, and lifestyle modifications that promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
  • Coordinate with the multidisciplinary care team, providing updates and recommendations regarding patient status and progress.
  • Manage your caseload effectively, prioritizing patient needs and coordinating care within the team for optimal patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses primarily on adult and pediatric patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals recovering from surgery, injuries from sports or daily activities, and chronic pain issues. Our goal is to empower patients at every recovery stage, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life through effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications
  • A valid and current Physical Therapy license in California.
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, which must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Experience
  • While no prior experience is required, candidates with clinical internships or experience in rehabilitation settings will be given preference.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and treatment planning is advantageous.
