Job description

How you will enjoy your day: Provides professional, courteous telephone and radio service to both guests and employees.

Work Performed:

1. Answers the telephone with appropriate greetings and transfers call to correct extension.

2. Takes messages accurately and logs them in Visual One.

3. Relay pertinent messages immediately to guests or staff.

4. Communicates with all departments via the telephone, email and/or radio.

5. Relays guest requests and problems to correct department and follows up.

6. Runs daily reports for PBX and other departments.

7. Records arrivals as noted by the Front Gate.

8. Notifies front desk of guest arrivals.

9. Completes guest request log with follow-up to all departments.

10. Logs all incoming packages on the package log.

11. Prepares key packets for 2nd shift.

12. Adheres to standards of property and standards of leading, triple A and Mobil.

13. Other duties as assigned.

Supervision Exercised: None

Supervision Received: Front Office Manager, Guest Services Manager and Resort Manager.

Responsibility & Authority:

1. Provides courteous, friendly and helpful telephone service to all guests and employees.

2. Informs appropriate department of guest issues and follows up to ensure resolved.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer prior PBX experience. Must have a good telephone voice and be detail oriented. Requires basic clerical skills, including filing, as well as knowledge of computer systems. Must have a basic knowledge of standard office machines. Ability to multi-task many priorities at one time.
