Payroll Specialist Hours: Monday Through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. 3 days onsite, 2 days remote Location: 30 Innovation Dr #200, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092 Pay: $56k annually + bonuses THE OPPORTUNITY: We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our customer focused team and be part of something great. We have an outstanding career opportunity for a driven, successful candidate with at least 3 years of experience with automated payroll processing. JOB SUMMARY: Process weekly, multi-state payrolls Interact and provide Payroll support to all levels of management and field personnel about a wide range of related topics. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with complex, multi-state payrolls Working knowledge of payroll procedures and Federal/state/local employment tax laws Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook A minimum of two years of experience with ADP Payroll systems, experience with ADP Reporting a plus Any experience with APEX, LYRIC, ServiceNow are also a plus as well as Logistics experience PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Processes production payrolls including entering exceptions, garnishments, and other earnings or deductions. Reviews data imported from time and attendance systems to ensure accurate transfer of hours worked and pay owed. Reviews and audits computed wages and deductions. Corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll. Posts wages and deductions to payroll records. Creates, cancels and reissues manual payroll checks or manual loads to payroll debit cards as required in case of payroll errors or terminations. Stops payment or reversals of live checks or direct deposits. Assists managers and employees with inquiries regarding payroll, garnishments or other legal wage assignments Monthly and Quarterly DOL and BLS Reports Other payroll related duties and reporting PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Works in an office setting and generally sedentary but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. May be required to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 25 pounds. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Three to five years of experience with automated payroll processing. We will offer a successful candidate: Salary commensurate with education, experience, and skills Quarterly and Annual Bonus incentive based on operational performance.
