Summary
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing and maintaining all payroll-related information. This includes calculating wages and commissions, updating Teammate information, supporting store management and corporate office leaders, and ensuring that all payroll-related processes are complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

Payroll Processing and Administration
  • Process payroll transactions: calculating wages and commissions, evaluating paid time off, entering payroll data, and maintaining accurate payroll records.
  • Maintain teammate payroll records: manage teammate information changes, tax withholding, and deductions.
  • Perform system record maintenance: new hire setup, tax form processing, timekeeping input, benefits setup, terminations, garnishments, and other related tasks.
  • Respond to teammate inquiries and communicate with leadership on errors or questions to ensure accurate and timely payment.

Payroll Review, Reconciliation and Compliance
  • Review and verify payroll data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare payroll-related reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all payroll-related information and records.

General
  • Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
