What You Will Do
-
Assist in the day-to-day processing of U.S Payroll Operations for a large organization including 129 paygroups supporting multiple frequencies (weekly, bi-weekly and semi-monthly pay cycles).

Review and ensure payroll activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
-
Work closely with payroll vendors in ensuring all desktop procedures are updated and approved.
-
Coordinate test payrolls with ADP, participate in testing, reviewing the outcome and troubleshooting issues.
-
Review, audit and analyze data inputs including salary adjustments, bonuses, special calcs, deductions to minimize data errors, identify anomalies and ensure root-cause resolution for processing issues.
-
Support various payroll initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, process improvements, key projects, and audits.
-
Partner with RTX departments to research and resolve complex pay issues, proactively recommend and implement mitigation efforts to prevent recurrence.

Generate reports to provide weekly payroll counts.
-
Support the ongoing alignment of RTX payroll practices and governance standards.
-
Assist in tracking annual payroll calendars and payroll schedules to guarantee we comply with deadlines.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
A Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
-
Payroll experience preferably gained in a large corporation or outsourced/BPO environment.
-
Direct exposure with ADP Enterprise, Workday, Globalview or other enterprise payroll systems.
Qualifications We Prefer

Strong analytical skills/systems analysis capabilities with knowledge of high tech pay modeling tools and databases.

Must be able to demonstrate expertise in problem solving, analysis, and issue resolution.

Strong professional and interpersonal skills including tact, patience, and courtesy.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills using Microsoft Office suite of applications and proficient in MS Excel and data management systems to handle high volume employee data.

Self-starter able to work effectively in a fast-paced highly collaborative cross functional team environment.

Strong organization skills with high attention to detail.

Knowledge of tax withholding, voluntary deductions and payroll processing.

Strong experience in an active, advanced customer service environment; preferably in payroll, customer care, and/or benefits related industry.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
