Job description

Summary:
This position provides analytical and data compilation to process and supports managers and associates. To include but not limited to data compilation and analysis, with decision-making on the prioritization and execution of tasks involving associates facing payroll issues. The position will be assigned regional areas to support the management teams and associates within the Ministries.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates at varied levels of complexity (medium to high) with Lawson/Infor for processing of payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees using Workforce Time Management (WFM) during biweekly payroll cycles.
  • Makes decisions on the prioritization and execution of tasks involving associates facing issues through use of Service Now.
  • Partners with management, department leads and other key internal customers to resolve associate's pay issues when necessary.
  • Works with the Supervisor/Manager in the balancing of payroll including variance analysis and explanations for each payroll cycle, etc.
  • Prepares periodic special reports as needed and directed by Supervisor/Manager.
  • Participates in special projects and assists to improve payroll processes that includes related ERP system changes and communications.
  • Maintains current knowledge of overall company operations, policies, and organization to provide effective customer service, support the development and/or recommend new or revised procedures for improving overall efficiency of the payroll department.
  • Audits to ensure the accuracy of wages, and tax deductions; research and correct errors
  • Resolve accounting variances as it relates to payroll
  • Responsible for the processing of Bi-weekly Payroll 5000+ associates
  • Assists with preparation, mailing and reprints of W-2 forms
  • Preparation for Manual Ach deposits or live checks

Requirements:
Education/Skills
  • High School Diploma

Experience
  • 2-3 Years Payroll working experience to include experience with centralized and/or automated payroll systems

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
  • FPC preferred or years equivalent
