Position Summary and Responsibilities:
Payroll Clerk position will compute, classify and record numerical data to keep payroll and financial records complete. They will perform any combination of routine calculation, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary payroll and financial data for use in maintaining payroll and accounting records. May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.
- Input data into the Work Force Management (WFM) payroll system and transmit and communicate with corporate payroll department for each payroll cycle; weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, bonuses and special payrolls
- Responsible for payroll final approvals and reports and communication between Division and Corporate
- Responsible for maintenance of payroll files and records retention
- Comply with federal, state and company policies, procedures and
- Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store and analyze information
- Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using computers
- Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as expenditures, accounts payable and profits and losses
- Check vendor invoice figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
- Code vendor invoice documents according to company procedures
- Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts
- Operate 10 key calculators, typewriters, and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents
- Verifying vendor control groups for Accounts Payable
- Gather and process Accounts Payable mail and invoices.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Accounting or related associate's degree or related payroll experience preferred
- Knowledge of and ability to competently use MS Office, internet, email and office machines.

- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including needs assessment and meeting quality standards for services
- Ability to write reports, correspondence and communications
- Ability to relate to all types of people and levels in and outside the organization, employing social perceptiveness, active listening skills and adjusting actions and style of communication when appropriate to ensure effectiveness
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects, assignments and tasks, monitoring use of time, appropriately using equipment and materials and to provide timely and quality responses

- Valid Driver's license is required to perform company business
- Ability to meet crucial deadlines
- Ability to adjustment hours worked when company holiday interferes with corporate payroll deadlines, ensure payroll is completed by deadline.
